Foreign VPS Network Monitoring Report: Uptime and Latency Analysis
Purchasing a foreign VPS with good network quality is a critical factor, but the complex network environment makes it difficult to distinguish quality differences. Therefore, Xiaoz Blog set up PHP Server Monitor locally to monitor changes in foreign VPS networks. However, since each user's network environment differs (Mobile, Unicom, Telecom, etc.), the data is for reference only.

Special Note: An uptime below 95% indicates severe packet loss, so please consider this carefully when purchasing. Since PHP Server Monitor calculates timeout data as 0ms, VPS with high packet loss rates may show deceptively good average latency. Uptime is more accurate; average latency for VPS with uptime below 95% is unreliable (e.g., Vultr uptime < 95%).

Summary

From the report, it is evident that Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong, Singapore, Ye Cao Yun, and RAKsmart have smaller fluctuations. Vultr Los Angeles has suffered from severe packet loss for over half a month. Other US VPS providers show significant fluctuations during evening peak hours. As carrier lines adjust over time, network conditions may change at any moment, so please stay tuned.
Again, this data was tested on Sichuan Telecom and does not represent all networks; the data is for reference only. Due to the time-consuming nature of compiling reports, the frequency will be adjusted to monthly releases in the future.
