Beiming Translation: A Custom uTools Plugin for Baidu and Youdao APIs

Beiming Translation: Inspired by the Northern Darkness Divine Skill from Jin Yong's wuxia novels, which is said to absorb others' internal energy for oneself, this plugin aims to make translation results available for your use. Currently, it supports Baidu and Youdao translation, requiring manual API configuration.

Install Beiming Translation

uTools users can search for "Beiming Translation" in the plugin marketplace and install it directly.

Configure API

Currently, Baidu Translation and Youdao Translation are supported, requiring manual API configuration. Application links are as follows:

• Youdao Translation: https://ai.youdao.com/gw.s#/

Open "Beiming Translation" and click the settings button in the bottom right corner to fill in the API information.

Usage

When you copy a piece of text, you can invoke uTools and select "Beiming Translation" to translate the content automatically, as shown below:

You can also add "Beiming Translation" to the shortcut keywords in uTools Preferences - Super Panel. This allows you to copy any text from the web and press the mouse middle button (the default shortcut for uTools Super Panel) to automatically translate it.
