Namecheap Shared Hosting Experience Review
During Black Friday, I secured two Namecheap virtual hosting coupons, purchasing a virtual host for less than $1 per year after discounts. This cost-performance ratio is unbeatable. Even without discounts, the lowest tier plan is only $9.88 per year, and the configuration is quite solid. With such high value, one can only ask, "Who else?"

Minimum Configuration
- 20G SSD Hard Drive
- Unlimited Traffic
- Support for 3 Bound Domains
- First Year Price: $9.88
Powerful Cpanel Interface
The Cpanel interface is widely used by most hosting providers and is likely the most feature-rich hosting panel available. Upon successful activation, the host information, including the host IP and Cpanel account details, is sent to your email, as shown in the screenshot below.

Cpanel supports multiple languages. The default interface is in English, but you can switch to Chinese in the control center after logging in for easier operation. If you have used Cpanel before, you will likely find it familiar. If not, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with its powerful features.

Network Performance
When I activated the service, only the US server location was available. Based on IP queries and route tracing, it appears to be located in the Eastern US, though some online sources claim it is in the Western US; perhaps I just had bad luck.

Ping tests from Sichuan Telecom show a latency of around 300ms, and SuperPing tests show over 200ms, which is relatively high, as shown in the following screenshots.

Conclusion
Namecheap virtual hosting offers a very cheap price for the first year, but the renewal price for the second year is somewhat expensive. The access speed from within China is not ideal. It is suitable for beginners to practice on, or for foreign trade websites and data backups. Additionally, Laoxue Hosting also uses the Cpanel interface.
