ShareX is a free and open-source software with a wide range of features. It is difficult to summarize its functionality in just one sentence. ShareX supports sharing text, files, and screenshots to over 30 different online services, including imgur, Flickr, Pastebin, gist.Github, Dropbox, Google Drive, Mega, FTP, and many more. It also allows for custom uploads using POST or GET requests.

ShareX supports multiple languages and is free of ads. It allows you to save screenshots to multiple locations. However, if you think of it only as a screenshot tool, you are underestimating its capabilities. ShareX also includes features such as screen color picker (essential for developers), image editing, DNS changing (not quite sure why this is included), and an FTP client. You can set different hotkeys to perform different actions.

Furthermore, you can set ShareX to automatically upload images to an FTP server and copy the URL to the clipboard. This makes it a useful tool for image hosting. I will share more details on how to set this up in future articles, so stay tuned.
