Vultr is a cost-effective VPS provider with up to 14 database centers to choose from, all using SSD hard drives and KVM architecture. Not long ago, Linode launched a $5 package, and now Vultr has followed suit with a $2.5 package. It seems like they're going head-to-head with Linode.
The original $5 package has been upgraded to 1 core 1GB memory, 25GB SSD. The new $2.5 package is 1 core 512MB memory, 20GB SSD. I wonder if this competition will go too far. See the screenshot below.
Some users have reported that the Japanese data center is not very stable during certain periods (probably due to high traffic). In addition, you can consider the Los Angeles data center. The London data center has relatively high latency but is more stable (tested personally). Since the local network conditions vary for each user, it is best to rely on actual testing. Vultr charges by the hour, so you can open a test server in multiple data centers and delete it at any time.
