The disk I/O test results show an average I/O speed of only 67.6 MB/s, which is quite poor.

 I/O Speed(1st run) : 67.4 MB/s
 I/O Speed(2nd run) : 68.5 MB/s
 I/O Speed(3rd run) : 66.9 MB/s
 I/O Speed(average) : 67.6 MB/s

The bandwidth is heavily restricted, with no redundancy, and both upload and download speeds are limited.

Node Name Upload Speed Download Speed Latency
Speedtest.net 5.00 Mbps 5.00 Mbps 129.25 ms
Los Angeles, US 4.78 Mbps 4.75 Mbps 177.81 ms
Dallas, US 4.91 Mbps 4.94 Mbps 225.77 ms
Montreal, CA 4.94 Mbps 4.84 Mbps 265.35 ms
Paris, FR 4.91 Mbps 5.19 Mbps 218.53 ms

In the Super Ping test, the average latency within China is 80ms, which is acceptable.

Routing Test

For Beijing Unicom, the outbound route directly connects to Japan via Softbank's network, which is quite good.

For Sichuan Telecom, the outbound route goes directly to Japan via Guangdong, using BGP routing:

For Guiyang Mobile, it seems to go to Hong Kong and then to Japan:

Returning to Sichuan Telecom surprisingly takes the CN2 network route??? (I'm not sure if it's ICMP optimization)

Furthermore, it is unknown if there will be any network adjustments in the future. The above results are for reference only.

Conclusion

The Raksmart Japanese VPS that xiaoz purchased has poor disk performance and heavily restricted bandwidth. The network performance is acceptable, and other aspects will be updated later after using it for a while.

Note: Raksmart has a history of data loss, so important data should be regularly backed up.
