While popular email clients like Foxmail and Outlook are powerful, their interfaces often lack a modern aesthetic. If you, like xiaoz, have high standards for design, Mailspring is definitely worth a try.

Key Features of Mailspring

  • Multiple accounts (IMAP and Office 365)
  • Unified inbox
  • Touch and gesture support
  • Read receipts, link tracking, and more
  • Advanced shortcuts
  • Support for Mac, Windows, and Linux
  • Lightning-fast search
  • Multiple themes and layout options

Installing Mailspring

Mailspring supports Mac, Windows, and Linux. The free version allows adding up to 4 email accounts simultaneously. If you have more email accounts, you may need to consider other alternatives or purchase the Mailspring Pro version ($8/month).

Usage

After installing Mailspring, go to "Preferences" -> "Interface Language" and select "Chinese Simplified". Restart the client to enable the Chinese interface, as shown in the screenshot below.

You can also change the theme in the options menu to suit your preference.

Simply click on "Inbox" to integrate all your emails together, or click on individual email accounts to view them separately.

Additional Notes

When adding a Gmail account, connections fail whether using direct connection or IMAP/SMTP methods. The cause is currently unknown. If anyone has successfully added Gmail, please share your experience in the comments.
