How to Set Up Shortcut Phrases and Use U Mode in QQ Input Method
Due to work requirements, I type a large number of repeated words or short sentences daily. Typing character by character is obviously not conducive to efficiency. Fortunately, most input methods currently support shortcut phrase settings, eliminating the trouble of repeated input, such as QQ Input Method.
Set Up Shortcut Phrases
Suppose I need to input the phrase "Today the weather is really good" multiple times a day. Open QQ Input Method -> Dictionary -> Custom Phrases -> Settings -> Add. For example, set the phrase abbreviation to "jt" and the phrase content to "Today the weather is really good", then save.

Finally, when we input the shortcut key "jt", we see the previously set phrase "Today the weather is really good". There is no need to type the complete words every time. Especially if you input the same content every day, this makes things much more convenient.

U Mode Input
Most input methods support U mode for split input. For example, if we plan to input the character "眚" (shěng), but I haven't read enough books to know how to spell it, and I don't know Wubi either. The input method's U mode comes in handy. The character "眚" is composed of "生" (sheng) and "目" (mu), so we input: u + sheng + mu, and finally, the character is typed out, as shown in the screenshot below.

Summary
Shortcut phrases in input methods greatly improve typing efficiency, while U mode solves the embarrassment of not knowing how to spell a character. Currently, the vast majority of input methods support these features. If you don't believe it, give it a try!
