How to Fix Foxmail Gmail Connection Issues
Recently, I planned to use the email client Foxmail to send and receive Gmail messages, but no matter what Gmail account and password I entered, I was prompted with an incorrect password error. There may be the following reasons:
You entered the wrong password! In this case, you can first try logging in via the web version to confirm the password before setting up Foxmail.

Enable IMAP
- Check if your account has two-step verification enabled. If it is, you will also see an incorrect password error. In this case, you need to set up an app-specific password to log in.
Set App Password
I confirmed that the password was correct and IMAP service was enabled. The issue turned out to be that two-step verification was preventing me from using the email client directly. I resolved it by setting up an app-specific password.
