Haroopad is a free Markdown editor that supports platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. Previously, MarkdownPad was introduced in the article "Windows Markdown Editor MarkdownPad", but some features require the purchase of the professional version and do not support multiple platforms. Haroopad can be used as an alternative.

Other notes

At first, I thought that Haroopad does not support syntax highlighting when inserting code. However, during testing, I only inserted HTML code and set the HTML code to JavaScript to achieve syntax highlighting. The screenshot is as follows:
