Previously, using Baidu Site Search required domain registration, but recently Baidu has become more lenient, allowing any webmaster to use the service. For details, please click Open Site Search. Xiaoz Blog has taken this opportunity to enable Baidu Site Search.

Baidu Site Search is a product by Baidu itself. The official statement suggests it benefits website indexing, though the actual situation remains unclear. However, the search speed is faster compared to the built-in WordPress search. If Baidu indexes your website less, it may not be recommended. The precision of Baidu Site Search results still needs improvement, and incomplete or duplicate content may appear. Google's search service is more complete, but unfortunately, it is blocked.

That said, due to my obsession with consistency, I wanted the search results page to display my own domain name instead of Baidu's subdomain. This caused some trouble. Unregistered domains still cannot use their own domain names, which is quite frustrating.

Baidu Search Interface

So I thought of using a program to automatically scrape Baidu Site Search results. This way, I could use my own domain name, and the customizability would be stronger. After spending some time, I finally completed the Xiaoz Blog site search feature. Everyone is welcome to test and use it.

Other Notes: Xiaoz Blog does not use Baidu Site Search for the entire site. For specific needs, the PC category pages and mobile terminal pages still use the default WordPress search. If you need the source code, please contact me via QQ.
