TangStyle Optimization 1.1: Enhanced WordPress Theme with New Features

TangStyle Optimization 1.1 was mostly completed during the National Day holiday, and I apologize for the delay in its release. This update offers more complete and powerful features compared to version 1.0. Please see the detailed introduction below.

TangStyle_Optimization 1.1 Update Content:

  • New Article Table of Contents: Added as a default disabled feature (requires H3 headings to function).
  • Sina Frontend Library Option: Added to improve loading speeds (disabled by default).
  • Friend Link Management: Restored in the backend, now visible only on the homepage.
  • Site Map Page Template: Added, eliminating the need for a separate sitemap plugin.
  • Home Page Excerpt Control: Added option to control the character count of home page excerpts (default settings are recommended).
  • Baidu Share Buttons: Added by default; backend settings take precedence if configured.
  • CNZZ Cloud Recommendation: Added as an optional feature (removed the default addition from version 1.0).
  • CSS Optimization: Improved stylesheets.

TangStyle_Optimization 1.0 Update Content:

  • Disabled Google Fonts.
  • Added CNZZ Cloud Recommendation (displays only when article content is sufficient).
  • Added breadcrumb navigation.
  • Added article pagination functionality.
  • Enhanced the default editor.
  • Added Baidu Share buttons by default.
  • Added article view count statistics (eliminates the need for an extra plugin).
  • Changed first-line indentation to 2 characters (default 20px).
  • Administrators can now check the Baidu indexing status for each article (code provided by the Fourth Dimension).

TangStyle_Optimization 1.1 is based on Mr. Tang Jie's TangStyle V1.0.9, the WordPress theme that has been used by Xiaoz Blog for a long time. I would like to pay tribute to him again and thank him for sharing.
