General Notes

I will start with general notes that are important when paying for OpenAI/ChatGPT:

• Name: It is recommended to use the pinyin of the real name (e.g., ZHANG SAN).
• Clean magic internet nodes (unclean nodes will be risk-controlled and unable to pay).
• Billing address: It is recommended to use tax-free state addresses in the United States (can be searched through Google Maps or AI-generated), namely: parts of Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon.

Using a non-tax-free area billing address will incur additional fees!!!

Paying for ChatGPT Plus

ChatGPT Plus currently has more payment channels available, with a much lower threshold than before. Here are the methods that the blogger has understood and tried.

For Android Users

For iOS Users

• Register an out-of-region Apple account (such as the United States), then install ChatGPT.
• Purchase gift cards to redeem balance.
• Use Apple in-app purchases to pay for ChatGPT Plus fees.

Paying OpenAI Bills

The above two methods can only pay for ChatGPT Plus and cannot be used to pay OpenAI bills, which still require binding a foreign debit card. The following method is more versatile, as it can be used to pay OpenAI bills and ChatGPT Plus. The blogger has tried virtual cards (physical cards) that can be used to pay for OpenAI/ChatGPT Plus, as follows.

WildCard (Low Threshold)

The registration and usage costs are relatively low, KYC-free, and support multiple payment scenarios.

• Providing virtual and physical cards (overseas regions)

Disadvantages include:
