I Bought an Ergonomic (Vertical) Mouse, Let's Talk about the Experience

Due to work reasons, I have to use the computer for a long time, which naturally involves excessive use of the keyboard and mouse. I have developed mouse hand syndrome, and my wrists have been slightly painful recently. I wanted to find a way to alleviate it, so I bought an ergonomic (vertical) mouse. Let's talk about the experience of using a vertical mouse and whether it is worth buying.

Mouse Selection

There are very few manufacturers that make vertical mice. I searched on JD.com and basically haven't heard of any of them. I ruled out wireless mice (because they may be unstable) and silent mice (I used a Xiaomi silent mouse before and the feel was very poor, with no tactile feedback at all). After excluding these options, there weren't many choices left, and I found this "Delux M618Plus," which seemed relatively suitable.

Unboxing

The outer packaging is a cardboard box with specific functions written on it, haha.

The inner packaging is a bit poor, just wrapped in plastic bubble wrap.

There is only one mouse, one wrist rest, and one warranty card in the package, without even an instruction manual. It feels like something is missing.

Compared to a regular mouse, the overall size is larger, which is not very suitable for women.

Since there is no instruction manual included, I took a screenshot from the product details.

User Experience

At first, it was a bit unfamiliar, but after using it for two or three days, it became very comfortable to use, and my wrist did get some relief. To some extent, a vertical mouse is useful for preventing or alleviating mouse hand syndrome. However, one thing that bothered me was that when I used the left button to select content and scroll down at the same time, it was not as convenient as a traditional mouse and was prone to accidental clicks.

This mouse is not expensive, and friends who want to prevent or alleviate mouse hand syndrome can consider buying it. xiaoz has tested it and it does work. But the warranty is only one year, so I hope it won't break after a year.
