3 Ways to Fix Windows Store Not Opening on Windows 10
Do friends using Windows 10 ever encounter the situation where the Microsoft Store cannot open? Recently, xiaoz encountered this issue. The solutions found online vary in quality, and since everyone's situation is different, not all methods may work. Xiaoz has organized these common methods in the hope that they will be helpful.
The error xiaoz encountered recently was: Code: 0x80131500. Theoretically, other similar errors can also be resolved using the methods below.

Method 1: Modify Internet Explorer Internet Properties
Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, then type inetcpl.cpl.

Once the Internet Properties window opens, go to the Advanced tab. Find and check TLS 1.2, and uncheck TLS 1.0.

Method 2: Reset the Windows Store
In the Windows Start Menu search box, search for "Store". Find Microsoft Store, right-click it, and select App settings.

Locate the Repair and Reset buttons. Try repairing first; if that doesn't work, try resetting.

Method 3: Check Your Proxy Settings
Some users may experience the Windows Store failing to open due to proxy software like Shadowsocks (ss) or V2Ray. Try disabling such proxy tools first. Note: Click to disable, do not simply exit the software, as exiting might leave the proxy running in the background. For example, the V2Ray client has an option to "Close HTTP Proxy".

Alternatively, refer to the steps in Method 1 to open Internet Explorer's "Internet Options". Go to Connections > LAN settings and uncheck Use automatic configuration script.
