ImgURL Pro v2.1.1 Released: Enhanced Installation, Search, and S3 Features

ImgURL Pro is a premium image hosting script (source code) that supports multiple storage providers such as Backblaze B2, FTP, Tencent COS, Qiniu Cloud, and AWS S3. It features real-time image compression and compatibility with various third-party clients like ShareX, uTools, and Picgo. This release introduces version 2.1.1, and existing users will receive an email notification within this week.

2.1.1 Update Highlights

  • Pasting uploads are no longer supported after the local interface is closed.
  • User registration emails are automatically converted to lowercase to prevent bugs.
  • Installation process optimized; users no longer need to manually modify configuration files.
  • Fixed a bug where mismatched image MIME types and extensions caused incorrect paths for compressed images.
  • Added filtering when writing original image names to the database.
  • Fixed upload failures when multiple client IPs are detected.
  • New feature: Users can now search for images by imgid.
  • New feature: The "Explore" discovery section can be disabled via Backend > Site Settings > Other Settings.
  • New feature: Ad management added.
  • New feature: Background image settings added.
  • New feature: When using S3 storage, a backup domain can be set. This backup domain is only effective for registered users, who can select their preferred domain on the interface.

Optimized Installation Process:

In previous versions, installing ImgURL Pro was cumbersome and required manual modification of configuration files, leading to a high error rate. With version 2.1.1, installation can be completed entirely through interface guidance without manual file edits, as shown below.

Backend Management Supports Image Search by imgid:

ImgURL image URLs follow the format: https://s3.bmp.ovh/imgs/2022/11/09/0f863f1bfc6ee8d1.png, where 0f863f1bfc6ee8d1 is the imgid. Users can now locate their images using this ID.

Disable "Explore" Discovery:

The "Explore" feature displays images uploaded by guests. If this functionality is not needed, it can be disabled via "ImgURL Backend > Site Settings > Other Settings."

New Ad Management:

New Background Image Settings:

In "ImgURL Backend > Site Settings > Site Information," you can set a custom background image. The background can be a relative path or a full URL address.

S3 Storage Supports Backup Domain Configuration:

In "ImgURL Backend > System Settings > Storage Solutions > S3," you can configure an additional backup domain.

This backup domain is only valid for registered users whose storage strategy is set to S3. These users can select their preferred image domain via the interface.
