Using FastStone Capture
There are many screenshot software options on the market. The screenshot software I use most often is not FastStone Capture, but ShareX. However, ShareX has a steeper learning curve, though it offers more automation. Although FastStone Capture is not my primary screenshot tool, it does not stop me from liking it because the image editing feature is what I use most.
It is undeniable that Photoshop is a powerful image processing software, but it is too professional, has a high learning curve, and low processing efficiency. In contrast, the user-friendly image editing features of FastStone Capture are perfect for me.
FastStone Capture allows for free cropping when editing images. When editing, small circles appear at 8 points, allowing you to freely drag and crop (stretching automatically expands the canvas, and scaling automatically crops). This is one of my favorite features, and to this day, I haven't found any other software with this function. If you find one, please let me know in the comments.
Pressing the shortcut key G allows you to quickly add shadows, watermarks, etc. to images (you can prepare watermark images in advance).
You can also easily add steps to your screenshots.
Pressing Ctrl + R allows you to scale images proportionally.
When saving images, you can also compress them.
The features mentioned above are the ones I use most frequently. For me, FastStone Capture is a user-friendly image editing software rather than just a screenshot tool.
