OneNav Refactored as ZMark: Public Beta and Early Bird Offers Now Live

OneNav, open source since 2020, has been around for nearly six years. During this time, many users have suggested to xiaoz that OneNav should support multiple users. However, due to its outdated framework, maintenance and modification have become increasingly difficult, so OneNav still does not support multi-user functionality.

The good news is that the refactored version, ZMark, has entered public beta. Still developed by xiaoz, it retains the familiar formula and taste. ZMark has implemented 90% of OneNav's features while adding multi-user support. It has been rewritten using a completely new technology stack: Bun + Hono.js + SQLite, maintaining its lightweight, simple, and easy-to-use nature. We welcome both old and new users to install and experience ZMark.

Installing ZMark

Currently, ZMark only supports Docker installation. Docker Compose, Baota, 1Panel, Synology, and other installation methods are available. For details, please refer to the installation documentation: https://dwz.ovh/zmark. More installation methods are being added continuously.

Migrating Data from OneNav to ZMark

Before migrating, you need to upgrade OneNav to the latest version 1.2.4, then follow the steps below to migrate data.

1. In the [OneNav Backend - Link Management - My Links], click [Export JSON] at the bottom.

2. In ZMark Bookmark Mode (/user), click [Import] data and select the .json content exported from OneNav.

Free Upgrade from OneNav Subscription to ZMark

Users who have already purchased a OneNav subscription do not need to pay extra; they can directly upgrade to the ZMark license for free without affecting their original OneNav license. Both licenses can be used simultaneously. The upgrade rules are as follows:
