How to Submit UK Company Accounts
In a previous article, xiaoz shared UK Company Annual Confirmation Statement (Confirmation Statement) Submission Process. This article will continue to share the UK company accounts submission process. For a normal UK company, both steps are mandatory.
Confirm Submission Deadline
Enter the company name in Find and update company information to view the submission period for company accounts (as shown in the image below). Be sure to submit within the specified time period, otherwise fines will be incurred.
Submit Company Accounts via WebFiling
First, you need to register for WebFiling. If you have not registered, please refer to my previous article UK Company Annual Confirmation Statement (Confirmation Statement) Submission Process. After logging into WebFiling, enter your company registration number and continue.
Find the company accounts submission button, then fill out the form, as shown below.
If you are unsure about the form content, you can use AI assistance to fill it out. After filling it out, submit it. After submission, you will receive an email with a submission reference number, as shown below.
Generally, Micro entities are approved within a few minutes, and then you will receive the email reminder below.
Finally, go to Find and update company information again, enter the company name to query. You can see that the company accounts submission time has changed, indicating that the submission is complete and company information has been updated.
Important Notes
Due to the UK Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA), the WebFiling entry point will close after March 31, 2026. This means that next year, the WebFiling entry point will no longer support submission. The author will continue to monitor and share subsequent submission methods.
