Support for SMB Mounting

In previous versions, we already supported mounting S3 and WebDAV network storage. Version 4.2.2 adds support for SMB mounting. You can add SMB mounts in 【Management Panel - Network Storage】, and we will support more storage types in the future, so stay tuned.

Batch Downloading

In previous versions, Zdir already supported downloading files in a package, but this function depended on browser performance and had a limit of 500MB for the total size of packed files, which was slightly inconvenient to use. In version 4.2.2, we added batch downloading, allowing you to select multiple large files and download them together (subsequent versions will also support server-side compression).

Text Encoding Switching

Due to some users using text encodings other than UTF-8, garbled text appeared during text preview. Version 4.2.2 now supports text encoding switching, allowing users to manually switch text encodings to bid farewell to garbled code issues.

It is important to note that when editing text, the backend still uses UTF-8 encoding for saving.

Optimized PDF Preview

In previous versions of Zdir, PDF preview relied on the browser itself. In the new version, we switched to the pdf.js solution, which provides better compatibility for preview effects across different browsers.
