Detailed Update Information

Mounting Network Storage

Starting from version 4.2.0, Zdir supports mounting Amazon S3 and WebDAV network storage (more types will be supported in the future). Once mounted, files can be viewed and managed directly through Zdir. The mounted paths are located under /mnt/. Currently, specifying a custom mount path is not supported. After mounting and starting, you can open the folder using the folder icon, as shown below.

Please note that the mounting feature is currently in the testing phase and may contain bugs or instability. Additionally:

  1. The Windows version does not yet support mounting.
  2. This feature requires a Zdir Pro subscription.
  3. Currently, only standard Linux installations allow mounted storage to be accessed like local files. Docker users can currently only access and manage mounted storage via the Zdir web interface.

Image Viewer

When entering the image preview page, clicking an image will launch the slideshow mode, as shown below.

Once in slideshow mode, the system automatically scans all images in the directory and supports switching between the previous and next images, as shown below.

Music Preview Optimization

In previous versions, the music preview page only supported playing the current track. Now, the preview page displays all music files in the directory in a list format, allowing users to freely switch between all music files in that directory.

Mode Switching Prompts

Zdir's public and private mode separation is a key feature, keeping public and private files distinct and non-interfering. However, some users reported difficulty knowing which mode they were in. Now, a prompt is displayed when switching modes.
