FTP Upload
Those who have used FTP tools should be very familiar with this, so we won't go into too much detail. The upload information is as follows:

Files uploaded via FTP are stored in a temporary space. You need to select the post-upload processing method in the 1Fichier backend under FTP Management. The default is automatic, meaning files are automatically transferred to My Files after upload. You can also change it to manual mode, where you need to click once after each upload to transfer files to My Files. The official recommendation is to change to manual processing for large files.
Note: If using FTP upload and Chinese filenames produce garbled text, set the FTP character set to force UTF-8.

Remote Upload (Offline Download)
Open the 1Fichier backend, find Remote Upload, enter the link, and click OK to perform a remote upload, similar to the offline download function of Baidu Netdisk. However, 1Fichier only supports http|https|ftp|ftps protocols.
Download Files
Open the 1Fichier backend, go to My Files, select the file you want to download, and click the link button to see the download link. Free users accessing this link will encounter a secondary redirect and ads, and free users have download speed limits.

The official provides the following test files for everyone to test confidently.

Conclusion
Although free users of 1Fichier have speed limits, the upload and download speeds in some areas are quite good, at least much better than the speed-limited Baidu Netdisk. However, note that free user files are only saved for 30 days, so it is not recommended to upload important and private data.
