ArubaCloud is a European hosting provider with data centers primarily located in Europe. Network connectivity between Europe and mainland China is poor, so few users in China choose this provider. However, you can apply for a 2€ coupon on their official website.

Trial Application

Visit https://www.arubacloud.com/free-trial.aspx to fill out the information and apply for a trial. Ensure the information is as real and valid as possible. After a waiting period, the verification code will be sent to your phone via SMS once approved.

Visit cart.arubacloud.com again, enter the coupon code, and register. After another waiting period for approval, your account balance will have a 2€ credit, which can be used to purchase a server.

ArubaCloud's cheapest plan is 1€/month with the following specifications:

Ping & Traceroute

The assigned IP is located in Italy. Local ping and SuperPing tests show an average latency of over 400ms, as shown in the screenshots below.

I/O and Download Test

Average I/O reaches over 800MB/s, and download speeds are also decent, as shown in the following screenshots.

Conclusion

Based on the tests, ArubaCloud's network performance is not good, making it unsuitable for hosting websites or as a proxy. Its only advantage appears to be cost-effectiveness. If you need a European IP, you can use it. However, if you must host a website, you may need to find a small server for reverse proxying or use a CDN.
