A while ago, I registered for a forum and needed to create multiple accounts. However, the forum had a restriction that only one account could be registered from the same external IP address within an hour. This was inefficient, so I accidentally discovered a simple and quick method to change the external IP address, which I want to share with you all.
Due to the scarcity of IPv4 addresses, home users and small companies often share the same external IP address. To easily check your external IP address, you can simply open Baidu and search for "IP address". You will be able to see the external IP address of your network, as shown in the screenshot below.
To change your external IP address, you need to use available proxy IPs. You can obtain free proxy IPs from websites such as 西刺免费代理IP or 快代理, among others. You can also search for more options on your own.
For demonstration purposes, let's use IE9. Suppose we have obtained a free proxy IP: 202.106.169.142 with port 80. Follow the steps below to change the IP address:
