Why I Replaced Baidu Share with JiaThis
From the beginning, Xiaoz Blog has always used Baidu Share, but recently I replaced it with JiaThis Share. Why did I do this? Please read on.
Actually, the Baidu Share button functionality is quite good, supporting page, image, and text selection sharing, and it has a large user base. However, there has always been a problem bothering me: when sharing to Sina Weibo, it cannot fetch the description and image. I once sought help on Tieba but was unable to resolve it.
Then I went to some websites currently using Baidu Share buttons to compare, and found that a large number of friends using Baidu Share also face the problem of not being able to fetch descriptions and images when sharing to Weibo. For example, I checked Lu Songsong's blog, and he also uses the Baidu Share button.
I searched online and found that many friends encountered this issue. So, with a trial mindset, I switched to the JiaThis share button and tried sharing to Weibo again. Sure enough, the problem was solved, and both the description and image were successfully fetched.
If you encounter a similar situation, you might want to try switching to a different share button to see if the problem persists. Currently, the three major ones in China are: Baidu Share, JiaThis, and Bshare. You can choose according to your own needs.
