The website is built, but there is still much to do, such as adding webmaster statistics and website monitoring. I also encountered some issues when adding webmaster statistics, but I eventually figured them out. This article serves as a summary.

Currently, the most commonly used webmaster statistics tools include Baidu Tongji, CNZZ, and 51.la. While these tools have their own advantages, they are largely similar in functionality, so users can confidently choose any of them.

The official websites provide detailed instructions on how to add the tracking code, so I won't elaborate further. However, some users may find that the statistics do not display on their website after adding the code. Based on my experience, here are the possible reasons:

  1. Browser Extensions or Plugins Blocking the Display: Some ad-blocking extensions or plugins may prevent the statistics icon from appearing. Locate the extension or plugin responsible for blocking ads and add your website to its whitelist, as shown in Figure 1-1.

  1. Baidu Tongji Not Displaying in the Specified Location: When using Baidu Tongji, if the tracking code is added to multiple locations on the website, it will only display in the location with the highest priority. Therefore, you may only see one instance of the statistics.

  2. Check Using Internet Explorer: If you cannot identify the browser extension or plugin blocking the ads, try opening the website using Internet Explorer to see if the statistics display correctly.
