I previously reviewed the HostKvm data center in Osaka, Japan: "HostKvm Osaka Data Center 20% off Discount Code, 2 Cores, 4GB RAM ($8.4/month) with Review". This time, I will test the data center in Singapore to see how it performs.
In terms of configuration, the bandwidth limit in the Singapore data center is 80Mbps, which is the same as the limit in the Japan data center. The bandwidth is relatively more relaxed compared to the Japan data center.
Below are the download speed test results. The fastest speed reached 8.94MB/s. The official limit is 80Mbps, but in my personal experience, it can only reach 60-70Mbps (upload speed has not been tested yet).

The average latency for super ping tests in China is 126.6ms, slightly higher than the latency of the Japan data center.

Anhui Hefei Mobile outbound route tracing
From the outbound route tracing, it can be seen that Harbin Unicom directly passes through Shanghai to reach Singapore, while Yunnan Kunming Telecom and Anhui Hefei Mobile use the PCCW route.
Below are the return route tracing tests using the mping script, which shows that the return route passes through Hong Kong before reaching mainland China, with direct connections to all three major Chinese network providers without any detours.

From the final route tracing, it can be seen that both outbound and return routes are directly connected to all three major Chinese network providers without any detours. However, based on multiple tests by Xiaoz, some regions have higher latency.
The overall latency of the HostKvm Singapore data center is higher than that of the Japan data center, but both are directly connected to all three major Chinese network providers. If you prioritize network quality, you may consider the Japan data center, and if you prioritize higher bandwidth, you may consider the Singapore data center. Please note that HostKvm does not allow the use of VPNs. If you are looking to build a website, you can consider HostKvm, but if you have other requirements, it is better not to bother.
