pCloud: A Foreign Cloud Storage Service with Offline Download Support
Recently, 360 Cloud Drive announced a transformation and will suspend upload services, leaving fewer domestic cloud drives available for use. If you are still hesitating on how to choose, you might first check Which cloud drives are still worth recommending as domestic ones close?. Recently, another foreign cloud drive, pCloud, was discovered.

pCloud is an emerging cloud storage provider from Bulgaria that is currently fully functional in China. It supports multiple clients, including MacOS and Linux systems. The initial storage capacity is 10GB, which is sufficient for general office work and photo storage. Importantly, it supports offline downloads, making it a good solution for transferring foreign resources.
How to Use Offline Download?
Initially, I only heard that this service supported offline downloads but couldn't find the entry point. After some troubleshooting, I finally discovered it. Click Upload on the right side, then select Remote Upload, enter the address you want to download offline, and click Upload, as shown in the screenshot below.

Speed Test
In the XiaoZ Blog test, the upload speed basically filled the local upstream bandwidth. Using the EagleGet free multi-threaded download tool to download a file from pCloud, the speed was stable at 500k/s. Without using multi-threading, the speed might be slower. For a foreign cloud drive, achieving this speed is quite satisfactory.

Cloud Drive Backup
pCloud allows you to back up data from OneDrive, Dropbox, and other services to pCloud for storage, as shown in the screenshot below.

Summary
Currently, this cloud drive is fully functional, and interested users are encouraged to try it. However, there is always a risk of data loss, so it is recommended to back up important documents in multiple locations.
